VIDEX (didanosine, USP), also known as ddI, in combination with other antiretroviral agents is indicated for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-1 infection [see Clinical Studies]. VIDEX should be administered on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before or 2 hours after eating.
